based on the text of Sophocles

An ambitious new performance event that transforms the original Sophoclean text for an intimate audience of forty. The performance includes a translation of Electra by Carl R. Mueller, an adaptation by Ellen McLaughlin, and an appropriation created by the cast and creative team. Actors are cast in the same role through each transformation, further illuminating the differences of each piece and deepening the understanding of Sophocles' story.
